Of course I am misusing the famous opening line from William Wordsworth’s well known poem, which has nothing at all to do with Bandstands and Bridges. The line seemed to match the mood in the photo and I like the instant emotion that well placed clouds can create in Second Life. In fact they are one of the few visual enhancements that work really, really well, adding instant atmosphere and drama.
I know some of you will will now be tutting and asking ‘well what about shadows and transparent/reflective water….eh?’ and in answer I would say that I agree except that I tend to have both of these fabulous enhancements switched off as they are very very laggy, and yes I do have a super fast computer and video card. When will they get rid of lag, are we to be cursed with it forever?
However, I digress, the main point of this post is to let you know that the Bandstand which was released a few months back is now available in store in Seaside or Christmas RED and you can also buy the matching Seaside or Christmas inspired red and white bridge. This bridge is also modify so you can always change the colour once Christmas is over! Both the bandstand and the bridge are 100% original mesh and match Fox Cottage perfectly.
You can buy both at the Ven River store and they will be available on the Marketplace by the end of the week.
