Calas Galadhon Winter Scene
As 2013 nears its end my thoughts start to move towards the future and inevitably I start to think of people, places and things past. It has been a mixed year for me, some things have been absolutely great, some things and people have not been so good and of course there’s always the lingering sadness for those who are no longer with us. I hope 2013 has been kind to you and if it hasn’t been so great I am sending you good wishes for a better 2014.
I decided to have my last foray into Second Life this year by visiting one of my old haunts Calas Galadhon and to spend time taking in the scenery of their winter sims. There were a lot of people there which made it a big laggy so I ventured further afield and was not disappointed with the scenery and the atmosphere they had created; the constant but distant sound of wolves howling, the noise of birds and the woodland critters scampering about certainly added to the cold frosty mood.
I stumbled across a beautifully made deer and decided he was in need of an apple so stopped for a while to admire the view, the frosty mists and snow covered mountains. My soul refreshed I now feel ready for the New Year my head buzzing with a million creative ideas as usual, so that’s my plan to spend more time in RL finishing off my creative pursuits and for now SL and Kitely will have to take a bit of a back seat. I’ll still be creating in world and blogging of course (you won’t get rid of me that easily) but a New Year calls for a whole new focus.
Have fun with your New Year plans and I wish you love, happiness and abundance in 2014.
